DataSolmu is building Varmennappi on an EU-region hosting foundation

For an evidence product, infrastructure is not a side note. It affects credibility, reviewability, and how comfortable future pilot teams will feel when they inspect the operating setup.

That is why Varmennappi is being built on an EU-region cloud hosting foundation. At this stage, the point is not to publish an architecture trophy case. The point is to keep the operating context legible, reduce unnecessary complexity, and support cleaner review conversations as the product matures.

We are intentionally describing this in people-first terms because this is an update, not a security white paper. We are not making certification claims here. We are stating the design direction clearly: keep the foundation simple, relevant to EU operating expectations, and compatible with evidence-heavy workflows.

As the product moves toward pilot use, infrastructure decisions will keep following the same rule as product decisions: less theater, more traceability.
