Varmennappi
Evidence-first verification and audit packs for ESG and climate claims.
Varmennappi is our first product at DataSolmu: a lightweight attestation workflow that keeps claims attached to proof — supplier documents, timestamps, structured records, and exports built for review.
Status: MVP in active development. We onboard pilot and design partners with narrow scope, clear boundaries, and honest feedback loops.

What Varmennappi does
Most sustainability and climate claims fail in the same place: the evidence trail is scattered across inboxes, supplier PDFs, spreadsheets, and inconsistent sign-offs. Varmennappi is designed to make that trail explicit.
We treat “verification” as an operational practice: capture the claim, attach proofs, record who reviewed what and when, and export a package that other humans can actually check. We do not sell certification. We build traceable records.
-
Capture the claim
Record what is being claimed, for which product/scope, and why it matters.
-
Attach proofs
Upload supplier documents and supporting files with timestamps and a consistent structure.
-
Review and validate
Run structured checks and keep a clear audit trail of changes, reviews, and outcomes.
-
Export for scrutiny
Generate audit packs and structured exports so evidence can travel across reporting and procurement workflows.
Current scope
Varmennappi is being built as a multi-tenant reporting and evidence platform. The core product wedge is ESG and climate substantiation, with practical support for ESRS/XBRL-style reporting workflows where it helps.
Evidence management
Upload and organize evidence files with a traceable history, built to reduce last-minute proof hunting during reporting and supplier reviews.
Audit packs and exports
Generate reviewable packages that connect claims, data, and supporting documents. Export formats are designed to be reused across teams, not trapped in one tool.
Validation workflow
Run automated validation steps with clear outputs and an audit trail. The goal is consistency: the same checks, the same structure, every time.
Organization boundaries and roles
Multi-tenant separation and role-based access so evidence and reporting work stays scoped to the right organization and team.
Stage reality: this is an MVP. Expect narrow pilot scopes and fast iteration. If you need guaranteed regulatory outcomes, we are not the right fit today.
Who it is for
We build with operators who are accountable when someone asks, “show me the evidence.”
Sustainability / ESG teams
Teams managing environmental claims, stakeholder scrutiny, and reporting pressure — who need a defensible backing trail.
Finance and reporting teams
Teams preparing structured disclosures and dealing with the friction of rebuilding the same proof trail every cycle.
Procurement and supplier teams
Teams collecting supplier proofs and trying to avoid ad-hoc evidence collection as deadlines approach.
Assurance and audit partners
Partners who want cleaner packages, clearer timestamps, and fewer ambiguous versions of “the same document.”
FAQ
Core questions we receive from pilot teams evaluating Varmennappi.
What is Varmennappi and how does it work?
Varmennappi is an evidence-first attestation workflow for ESG and climate claims. Teams capture a claim, attach supplier or source proofs, run structured reviews, and export audit-ready packages.
How does Varmennappi handle data security?
The product uses organization boundaries, role-based access, and a database-backed audit trail. Hosted services run in the EU region with controlled storage for evidence files.
What support is available for pilot teams?
We onboard design and pilot partners directly, with practical support on workflow setup, evidence model choices, and review handoffs.
Is there a free trial?
We currently run scoped pilot onboarding rather than an open self-serve trial. Contact us and we will align on fit, timeline, and pilot scope.
How are updates and new features handled?
Varmennappi is in active MVP development. We ship improvements continuously and communicate meaningful product changes during pilot collaboration.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is currently pilot-scoped and depends on team size, workflow complexity, and required integrations. We share concrete terms during onboarding discussions.
Technical notes
We run Varmennappi in a modern web stack with a multi-tenant service model and a database-backed audit trail. The hosted app uses Firebase Hosting with API rewrites to Cloud Run services in the EU region (europe-north1), with PostgreSQL as the primary datastore.
Evidence files are stored in cloud object storage with versioning and retention policies suitable for governance-heavy workflows.
